Young Christians' Hour - Middle Schoolers
Young Christians’ Hour takes place upstairs in the Education Wing on Sundays from 9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.. YCH is designed for kids age 3 yrs-middle school. Our emphasis is on building community, hearing the Bible stories, and loving God. The curriculum evolves to meet the needs of young Christians and to help them prepare for the choice of confirmation. This year we will focus on the Book of Common Prayer, the Seasons/Colors/Holy Days, and the Parables of Jesus. Come upstairs and see what’s happening.
High School Youth in Adult Forum
Adult Forum is an important part of Sunday mornings at Christ Church. We meet in the Parish Hall between the two morning services on Sundays (9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.), while the kids are in Young Christians’ Hour. High school youth are encouraged to attend along with their parents and other adults. We have coffee and sweets for the body and focus for the mind and soul.
Hello Happens (3rd-5th grades) and P.R.A.I.S.E. (6th-12th grades) meet on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. once a month during the school year. The focus on these groups is to build community with one another at church, while having fun and helping in the community. They go on retreats together, pick blueberries, glean potatoes, make meals for To Our House, help at the Christmas Store, enjoy lock-ins, and much more. If you are interested please ask to join the Facebook Group or contact Linwood and Kristy Hudson.
