Youth Ministries
Public Theology
Youth, grades 6 to 12, are invited to join Public Theology for fellowship, spiritual nourishment and pizza. We meet once a month, the second Sunday, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.. In the past we have explored the hymnal, taken a deep dive in the story of Jonah and put on a play based on the Book of Job.
Youth Group
The youth group meets once a month, the fourth Sunday, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The focus on the group is to build community with one another at church, while having fun and helping those in need. In the past we have gone on retreats, pick blueberries, glean potatoes, make meals for To Our House, help at the Christmas Store, enjoy lock-ins, and much more.
Diocesan Youth Events
Join in the fun at Diocesan Convention (http://youth.dioswva.org) while parents are at the meetings. Get involved with Youth Ministry Team and help plan and lead events - camping, mission work, meet the youth from our companion diocese, the Diocese of Leeds, England.
